Homes England Consultations – It’s still NOT a done deal!
Homes England has held a further consultation today regarding their plans for Chalgrove Airfield, and will be holding another consultation tomorrow:
Saturday 14th July 2018 10am to 2pm – Chalgrove Community Centre
Please see below an information sheet we have produced following Homes England’s latest newsletter and in preparation for the consultations. Whether you support the development or object to it please do attend if you can and let your views/thoughts be known. Despite their plans Homes England still has a very long way to go before they can start any development of the airfield. There is still the matter of planning permission to secure, as well as a Compulsory Purchase Order in order to gain control of the site. The airfield is still also under review with South Oxfordshire District Council as a possible site for inclusion in the Local Plan, along with 14 other sites for development. This matter is by no means settled and is definitely NOT a done deal.
