May Day Festival

What a fantastic community event!  We had a brilliant day on our information stand and really enjoyed meeting everyone that came to say hello.  We received a wonderful response to our efforts in raising awareness of the plans for Chalgrove airfield, and the need to respond to the latest version of SODC’s Local Plan.

Our fundraising efforts with ‘Guess the Name of our Teddy’ was very well received and raised us a total of £80.  Heartfelt thanks to everyone that took part and we are delighted to announce that the winner of our gorgeous teddy was Clair from Didcot.  The winning name of our teddy was ‘POPPY’, as chosen by Jacky Nabb from our NDP team this morning.  Clair has very kindly donated Poppy back to us to raise even more funds for our cause.  Many thanks to Clair for her very kind gesture, and to Jacky also for her assistance during the morning.  Poppy will now be very well looked after by one of our younger residents, Hannah (age 10), until our next fundraising event.

Thank you to everyone for your continued support!

You can use the registration form at the bottom of the page to sign up to our newsletter to keep informed of everything going on related to the airfield and the proposed plans.
